Hotel review of the cove hotel in Nassau
The Cove Hotel - Nassau

The Cove at the Atlantis is elegantly situated between Cove and Paradise Beaches on the Paradise Island in the Bahamas creating the feeling of being cast away on a private, white -sand sanctuary. Originally an adult only resort the 5 star ultra - luxury hotel now welcomes families of all ages through its doors. The Cove opened in 2007 and displaced the Royal Towers as the best, and therefore the most expensive, address at Atlantis.

Rooms

The Cove boasts 600 Rooms split into 7 suite categories. As a family of 5 we opted for the Indigo Suite with 2 Queen Beds. The rooms are spacious and offer outstanding floor-to-ceiling ocean views over the Cove's private beach, with a large french balcony for sunrise-lovers. Large marble bathrooms with huge tubs, double sinks and an abundance of high - end toiletries give the room that extra spark of utter luxury. Cots are available upon request

Facilities

The Cove shares a private beach and large family pool with neighbouring reef tower but only the cove guests have access to the party pool called Cain at the Cove (for adults only) with private cabanas, outdoor gambling, and a live DJ.

Guests have access to all the facilities within the Atlantis resort including the water Park, kids club, lazy river, nightclubs, restaurants, casino, and the incredible 14-acre Dolphin Cay where the children can swim with Dolphins, play with the sea - lions and snorkel with mantra Rays.

Food

The resort does not offer an all-inclusive option however they do offer food packages and dine around options for families. It is a set price per day for adults and children (under 6's eat free) and includes buffet or continental breakfast, and a buffet or a la carte dinner in one of the resorts 21 restaurants (not including alcohol). Many restaurants have a child- friendly menu.

LUXE FAMILY SAY .....

We absolutely love this resort. The staff are incredible with the children and nothing is too much trouble. The kids loved making friends in the kids club as well as exploring the water park and beaches and with so many food options they never got bored or hungry.

The rooms are huge, clean, modern and fully equipped with beautiful views and child safe balconies.

The only issue we had was with the price of the kids club, which with 3 children soon added up to quite a bill.

We give this resort a 9/10

MUM HACK

Do not use the hotel laundry service. Hop across to the neighbouring Hotel, The Reef and use their self service laundry room situated on the 2nd Floor. Make sure you carry change with you for the machines.
