Portugal
Portugal is quickly becoming a sanctuary for British golf and wine lovers (it's also considered a tax haven with a huge expat community especially in the algarve).
A little slice of heaven, totally accessible, only 2.5 hours flight from London. Aside from the beautiful beaches, open air activities, delectable cuisine and wine Portugal has more recently boasted to be 'Europes answer to Hawaii' with a top travel journalist recently describing the 'Azores' as the Hawaii of the Atlantic.
