Valentines boasts 39 ultra- luxury, traditionally decorated suites and 50 boat slips. We went for the Luxury 3 bedroom villa, which with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an upstairs downstairs are both spacious, clean and come with a washer and dryer (mum goals!!!!)

Facilities
The resort offers a private beach ( accessible by beach buggy 5 minutes drive from the resort). Please note theres no service on the beach.
Within the resort you'll find the Boathouse restaurant, Rooster Tail Bar and Cocoa coffee House as well as a beautiful pool area , state of the art fitness centre and on-site Dermalogica Skin Care Spa.
The Valentines Dive Centre is the leading PADI dive resort facility in the area
Food
Restaurants on the island are limited, with each hotel having one or two venues each. Guests are freely welcomed to dine at any of the hotels restaurants on the island. Seafood is a firm favourite in all the resorts.

I first visited this little corner of paradise back in 2008 while hosting a segment for 'Miss Universe'. I immediately fell in love with the small Bahamian Island.
Harbour Island is now firmly one of our all-time destination favourites. The hotel has an air of Bahamian charm and style and is great for families.
Exploring the island by golf buggy was a highlight for the children even though the beach access is quite hard to find. ( in fact we ended up with a police escort hahaha ). Another selling point of the island is the pink sand beach (one of the only ones in the world), where you can ride horses bareback along the miles of unspoilt coastline.
Did you read my 'How To' on swimming with the pigs??? Forget the Famous Pig Beach. Harbour Island is the only place to see these little swimming sensations

Please note this island closes for business during the winter months. Shops on the island are limited so if you have a baby make sure you stock up on milk and nappies before arriving.
